Skyler’s real estate career unofficially began at age 14—long before business cards or broker’s licenses entered the picture. The youngest of six kids with two busy, working parents who wanted to move, Skyler took it upon himself to handle the search. While other teens were playing Atari, he was circling “For Sale” ads in the newspaper and setting up showings. Agents assumed they were meeting Mr. Hynes… and were stunned when a 14-year-old walked through the door. Eventually, he found the perfect house on Chesworth Road in Philadelphia’s Bustleton neighborhood—purchased for $49,000 in 1978. That same home later sold for more than six times the price. Not a bad first deal.
Fast-forward a few decades: Skyler joined Coldwell Banker in 2012 and quickly established himself as a top performer in Beverly Hills and across the nation. A longtime Los Angeles resident of over 40 years, he lives in the Mid-City area and is the proud father of two grown children.
Skyler’s work has been featured on NBC’s Open House—as the listing agent for the Dolores del Río estate in Outpost Estates—and in the Los Angeles Times, highlighting his representation of clients such as rocker Dave Navarro and celebrated chef Roy Choi.
Known for his creative problem-solving, resourcefulness, and calm professionalism, Skyler blends sharp business acumen with a genuine love of helping people find their place in the world. Before real estate, he founded and ran “Don’t Panic!,” a successful clothing company with five retail locations and more than 60 employees. His background in design, accounting, and product development now gives his clients an edge whether buying, selling, or developing property.
